100% maple shells in a choice of sizes and plys: 5, 6, 8, 10 ply, etc. Stave shell construction in choices of maple, birch, walnut, rosewood, oak, as well as many other woods and mixed wood patterns. With MyMi's new design having no hardware attached to the shell, past limitations on shell materials, shapes, and thickness are no longer an issue. The shell is a true resonant chamber, not something to bolt hardware to.

Finishes
From simple wax finish to hand-rubbed lacquer in virtually any color. Over 50 exotic wood veneers from around the world. While other drum companies only offer a select few finishes, MyMi's palette is endless, and as unique as the individual artist we are building for. From high gloss to a more natural grain and anywhere in between.

Rims
Available in chrome, black chrome, and brass. Hardware combinations such as black chrome rims with brass or chrome tension rods. A great look, or any other combination. Wood rims in different styles made of rock maple, with or without claws. Hideaway wood rims and matching veneer inlay.

Intermediate Rims
Powder-coated, large variety of colors, great accent, and of course the sound that could only come from a truly free-floating suspension system.

Additional Options
Yes, there is even more to choose. We do use some hardware, and have a complete selection of snare strainers, snare butts, and snare wires. This hardware is mounted to the intermediate rim and not to the shell, including a bracket for tom-tom mountings also not mounted to the shell.
